Forest Fact was established in the uk in 1991 by Peter Oliver.
Alan Hatton has been working in forestry since 2001 working for most of that time in forest surveys with forest fact set up by Peter Oliver.
Alan helped grow and develop Forest Fact over the last decade eventually taking the company over from Peter in 2010.
Forest Fact operates across the whole of the UK and has completed many and varied projects for both public and private sector. Alan has developed a committed team of surveyors to gather data and information needed by owners and managers for effective forest management. Forest Fact has done this by developing a variety of systems utilising the latest technologies available so they can tailor surveys to clients' individual requirements.
Our Technology
Forest Fact is utilising the latest technique to enable accurate and efficient field data collection: electronic and manual equipment, maps, digital callipers, tapes, GPS, Geographic Information System (GIS) in the field, field collector applications, air photo survey with fully licenced and insured drones.
